OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"Senior missionaries serving with Farmland Reserve should always remember that they are committed to serve the Lord 24 hours a day. All their "free-time", should be activities that build faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and nourish spirituality within themselves and others, increase their love and companionship for each other as spouses and help preserve and enhance the assets of the church. In this way we will magnify our callings, as we help the work of the Lord go forward. (Elder & Sister Fuller, Directors of Missionary & Volunteer Services
Our new Home
A Charming Old House in the Orchard
THERE WAS A LITTLE HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS...
We are now residing at 1335 Kirk Road, Gridley, CA 95948. We arrived here on the afternoon of January 6th. We attended an orientation at Farmland Reserve in Salt Lake City on January 5, 2009. We met with Elder Bretzing, Director of Farmland Reserve and had our training and were on the road at 3:30 pm. We were too excited to spend the night and headed out into a snow storm. We finally stopped in Elko, Nevada and spent the night at the Red Lion. We had a very special dinner to celebrate the beginning of our mission and had a wonderfuly time remembering all of you. Our family and friends have been very supportive and caring in regards to our mission. You sent is off with full hearts and wonderful memories.
